After “caus[ing] her to drink an intoxicating beverage,” the defendants [Valdez, Guzman] abducted one Lillian Richards [aged 14] from her home in Tampa, Florida, and took her to an apartment on West 112th Street, New York City, for the purposes of prostitution. Defendant Valdez later admitted to a police officer that he had also had sexual intercourse with Richards.
